Frequently Asked Questions:
I get an error saying "This link is invalid, has expired, or someone else downloaded the file."
The link used is not valid. Every file uploaded has an expiration date. The date depends
on which plan you're using. In the free plan, a file uploaded will expire after 24 hours
if not downloaded. Another possibility is that someone downloaded the file already. One
last reason can be that the URL you tried is invalid, or a character was added or dropped
in transit.
Solution: Contact the person who sent you the file and request that they send it to you again.

Do you encrypt files I upload?
Yes, we do. Every file uploaded is encrypted using 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256),
one of the strongest block ciphers available.
Security best practice, especially if you’re sending incredibly secure data, is to encrypt or password-protect your files even before uploading them to our servers, adding multiple layers of protection to your files.

Can I share the download link with more than one person?
No. If you share a link with multiple people, the first person to download the link will
get the file, and others will receive an error.
Can I upload the same file more than once?
Yes. If you need to share the same file with more than one person, you must upload the
file multiple times. There is no limit on how many times you can upload a single file.
Can I upload more than one file?
No. If you want to send multiple files to an individual, you can add them to any
compressed archive (zip, gzip, tar, etc.) and share that file. Another option is to
upload each file separately and share multiple links.
I'm worried about someone I don't know downloading my files, what can I do?
Before choosing a file on the home page, you can set a password to protect your file.
If you click the Yes button next to the password box, you can select whatever password
you want. Be sure to share that password with your recipient in a separate message
from the one you share the URL link. Your recipient must provide the correct password
before downloading the file.
